Inter-American Investment Corporation – IIC (Washington, USA)

Principals conducted intuitional analysis of environmental and social risk management capacity, and an assessment of the barriers to its development in selected 12 financial institutions in Latin America. Based upon findings, developed a “business case” for environmental and social risk management in FIs for distribution by IIC to it’s current and future FIs. Provided institution specific capacity building services in environmental and social risks management as appropriate.

Ameriabank (Armenia) / FMO (the Netherlands)

Assisted Ameriabank to develop and implement a Sustainability Policy and detailed Environmental and Social Risk Management Procedures to satisfy Ameriabank’s obligations to its IFI partners (FMO, IFC, EBRD, DEG). Also developed specific Tools to assist bank staff to integrate environmental and social risk management into the credit appraisal process, and conducted a workshop to demonstrate the implementation of the bank’s Environmental and Social Risk Management Procedures.
